On the prediction of fatigue crack growth based on weight functions in residual stress fields induced by laser shock peening and laser heating

چکیده
This study deals with fatigue crack growth prediction for thin sheet AA2024 specimens residual stresses introduced through laser shock peening and heating treatments. Different weight functions are used to calculate the stress intensity factor due presence of stresses. A superposition principle is by calculating total considering applied loads The predicted using Paris' law based on effective range, in that effect considered changing ratio. It concluded, a powerful tool predict containing fields, as long gradient loading direction, induced heating, moderate.
